3G and WAP: Whats the Difference?
Originally printed in September, 2000

If you've been following up on industry news lately, you will have read quite a number of articles on the big money being spent on 3G licenses in Germany.  International 3G Spectrum Auctions Watch
As many of you already know, the auctioning of spectrum for future broadband 3G services is a rather messy affair. Companies coming in, companies going out, companies teaming together, companies stabbing each other in the back - it's become a virtual soap opera!

Several countries have already completed their auctions earlier this year, including the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, and Spain. Of course, there are plenty of other countries currently in the process of auctioning off spectrum and numerous others mulling over potential windfalls from future auctions.

The purpose of this list is to keep you up-to-date on which countries are in the process, planning for, or have recently completed their auctions. It will be updated as regularly as possible. Don't forget to keep your eyes open for Wuzap 3G news headlines on a daily basis! more
